My Backstory
Ghita Eddie was born in Everett, WA, moved to Orange County, CA when she was 3 years old and moved back to WA state when she was 7 years old. When she was 8 years old, she then moved to Jakarta, Indonesia where she learned about her family’s Indonesian culture and heritage. She then moved to San Diego when she was 15 years old. Ghita grew up with cartoons and Japanese anime which made her fall in love with watching anything that is animated which inspired her to draw fanart of her favorite shows and pursue a future career in the arts. Ghita primarily uses watercolor, colored pencils, pens, and digital art for her artwork. She is still learning and improving her art because she is inspired to be an illustrator for a webcomic or children’s book illustrator and a preschool teacher with her degrees and certificate in the future.
